Dueber Lab 2015 Commencement Celebrations
On May 18, 2015, the Dueber Lab graduated two undergraduate students and one graduate student during Bioengineering’s 2015 commencement celebrations.
Undergraduates Arthur Fong and Shyam Bhakta (above left) each received a B.S. in Bioengineering during the morning ceremony. Both Arthur and Shyam will be staying with the Dueber Lab through Summer 2015.
Professor Dueber hooded outstanding graduate student Will Deloache (above right) during the afternoon graduate ceremony. Will started in the Dueber Lab in 2010. During his time in the lab, Will was the 2012 iGEM team’s mentor and helped produce six publications; he was first author on two. In addition, Will and fellow graduate student, Michael Lee, received a NSF I-Corps Grant to support their entrepreneurial research.
The Dueber Lab congratulates these scientists and wishes each of them a happy and prosperous career. Go Bears!
